Jackson Miller was named to the Tusculum University men's basketball coaching staff in the Summer of 2021 where he serves as an assistant coach.

He assists with all aspects of the Pioneer program including practice organization, player development, strength and conditioning, recruiting, travel coordination and academic advising.

The 2021 graduate of East Tennessee State University served as a student assistant with the successful ETSU men's basketball program. While at the Johnson City school, he worked with the Buccaneers from 2017-2021. His responsibilities included: recruiting, multi-media content creation, film management of practices and games, team travel, individual instruction, scout team and organization of drills.

During his time with ETSU, the Bucs posted an overall record of 92-35 including 52-18 in Southern Conference play. Miller was a member of four teams which finished with a winning season including the 2019-20 team which posted a 30-4 record and swept the SoCon regular season and tournament titles. The Bucs earned a NCAA Tournament bid, but the postseason was canceled due to the COVID pandemic.

His first three seasons on Coach Steve Forbes staff included three 20-win seasons. In his first year, the Bucs went 25-9 and finished runner-up in the SoCon regular-season and tournament. The Bucs went 24-10 the following season and advanced to the SoCon semifinal. ETSU would later accept a CIT bid where they were eliminated by Green Bay.

He earned a pair of undergraduate degrees from ETSU in history and sport management.

He and his wife Alyssa are the proud parents of one son, Jett.
