GREENEVILLE, Tenn. --- The Tusculum University women's cross country team will be competing at the Covered Bridge Open at Appalachian State University on Friday, Sept. 15.

The Pioneers added the meet to their schedule after being unable to field a full team of five women's runners for its first meet of the season at the Eye Opener on Sept. 1 due to illness.

The Covered Bridge Open will be a 5-kilometer race that will begin at 10 a.m. at the App State Farm Field.

Prior to that, the Tusculum men's and women's teams will compete at the Senators Invite, hosted by Walters State in Morristown on Saturday morning.
