JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. --- Five Tusculum College
cross country runners competed in this past weekend's East
Tennessee State University Buccaneer Invitational on the Johnson
City campus.
Tusculum senior David Cooper posted the best finish among the
Pioneer runners when he came home seventh in the 5,000-meter event
with a time of 15.32.48. Junior, and fellow Greeneville native,
Lawson Burrow recorded a time of 16:31.96 to finish 31st.
Freshman Jacob Cutshall and junior Erick Koskey participated
in the 3,000-meter event. Jacob Cutshall crossed the line in
9:49.60 to claim a 27th place finish, while Koskey capped a 42nd
place effort with a time of 10:20.21.
Freshman Caleb Cutshall competed in the 1-mile event and
recorded a time of 4:52.70 for a 38th place finish.
