SPARTANBURG, S.C. --- Tusculum College's David Cooper won the 5,000-meter run at the 2013 Terrier Relays, held Saturday at the Spartanburg High School Track Complex. The event, which includes runners at the NCAA Division I, II and III levels, is being hosted by Wofford College.

Cooper, a sophomore from Greeneville, Tenn., posted a time of 15:44.41, nearly 30 seconds ahead of runner-up Aaron Forburger of Davidson College.

TC teammate and Greeneville freshman Lawson Burrow finished 10th with his 5K time of 17:06.79.
