TUSCULUM MEN FINISH 21ST AT BLUE RIDGE OPEN


BOONE, N.C. --- Donald White posted a time of 29:44 as the Tusculum College men's cross country team finished 21st at the 2007 Blue Ridge Open, hosted by Appalachian State University.

White finished 189th in the field consisting of runners from NCAA (all divisions) and NAIA programs.

Ben Hale posted a time of 33:45, followed by teammates Connor Graves (40:30), Jason Seaton (41:00) and Cody Wiggin (49:59).

Texas won the team title with 23 total points. Duke was second with 85 points, followed by host Appalachian State (98), North Carolina (109), High Point (166), Campbell (220), Radford (256), Mars Hill (271), Queens University of Charlotte (285), Western Carolina (299), UNC Greensboro (304), Milligan (313), Lees-McRae (346), Gardner-Webb (355), Elon (364), Lenoir-Rhyne (388), UNC Wilmington (450), UNC Asheville (513), King (542), Emory & Henry (618) and Tusculum (1065).

Tusculum returns to action on Saturday, Oct. 20 at the South Atlantic Conference Championship in Salisbury, N.C.
