INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. --- The Tusculum University women's volleyball team awaits an at-large bid to next month's NCAA Division II Women's Volleyball Southeast Regional. The Pioneers will find out their seeding and host site tonight (Nov. 22).
The NCAA will stream a selection show on ncaa.com, which will air at 7:30 p.m. The top seeds of the eight regions will be announced one hour prior on Division II's Twitter account (@NCAADII).
The three conference champions have already received an automatic bid to the tournament: Lenoir-Rhyne (SAC), Augusta (Peach Belt), and Francis Marion (Conference Carolinas). Teams will be vying for the five remaining openings.
Tusculum (20-5) was ranked in the top spot all three weeks of the southeastern poll. Other SAC teams in consideration include Wingate, Anderson, Mars Hill, and Carson-Newman, while the PBC has Flagler and USC Aiken hoping to continue their seasons.
