Women's volleyball pauses team activities due to COVID protocols

GREENEVILLE, Tenn. --- The Tusculum University women's volleyball team has postponed five of its upcoming South Atlantic Conference matches due to COVID-19 management requirements within the league.

Matches affected include home contests against UVA Wise (Mar. 19), Carson-Newman (Mar. 23), Coker Mar. 26) and Wingate (Mar. 27) as well as its Mar. 30 road match at Mars Hill. Rescheduled dates for these matches have yet to be determined.

Tusculum has paused all team activities due to positive cases within the women's volleyball program. Every team in the league is adhering to minimum outlined protocols produced by the conference and its members for return to play.

The Pioneers (2-1, 2-1 SAC) are scheduled to return to action Apr. 2 when TU travels to SAC newcomer Limestone for a 7 p.m. match.
