GREENEVILLE, Tenn. --- The Tusculum College volleyball team conducted its first practice of the fall in preparation of the 2016 campaign which begins next month.
Pioneer head coach Michael Robinson, who is entering his ninth season guiding the TC program, opened camp with 21 student-athletes on the roster. Eleven letter-winners return for Robinson, including 2015 All-South Atlantic Conference standouts Rachel Garnett and Melissa Mazur.
The 2016 roster includes players from seven states including Tennessee, Virginia, Indiana, North Carolina, Ohio, Illinois and Kentucky.
Garnett and Sarah Bouley are the lone seniors on the club. The roster also consists of six juniors, four sophomores and nine freshmen.
Preseason camp continues over the next few weeks, leading up to the Sept. 2nd season-opener at King. Tusculum will host Mars Hill on Sept. 13th in the Pioneers' home opener.
