Volleyball signs setter Victoria Dierickx
GREENEVILLE, Tenn. --- Tusculum College head volleyball coach Michael Robinson has announced the signing of Victoria Dierickx of Greenville, South Carolina as one of the final members of the Pioneers' incoming 2015 class.

Dierickx joins Kayla Hartley of Mishawaka, Indiana, Melissa Mazur of Chicago, Illinois, and Ally Soldati of Lenoir, North Carolina as Tusculum signees from the most recent spring signing period.

Dierickx is a 5-8 setter out of Hillcrest High School and the Axis Volleyball Club. As a team captain for the Rams, Dierickx was a 4A All-Region selection and collected multiple All-Tournament honors throughout her high school career. She also earned Hillcrest's Top Setter award and was named to the Under Armor High School Player Watch List.

Dierickx handed out an average of 4.6 assists per set between her junior and senior campaigns while tallying a total of 1,107 between 242 sets. She had 302 digs and 1.2 per set as an upperclassmen while registering 36 kills and 65 aces.

"Victoria is one of the hardest working players that we've ever recruited, and we are excited to have her as a Pioneer," said Robinson. "She adds a new dynamic to our offense and we expect her to be a leader and contributor right away."

Dierickx and the three other spring commitments join early signees Cassie Born and Madison Shumaker as the six members of TC's highly touted 2015 freshman class.

Tusculum will be looking to build off its ninth-straight winning season and its fourth place finish in the South Atlantic Conference in 2014. The Pioneers return two All-SAC performers from last season and a pair of seniors.
