BREVARD, N.C. --- Brooke Seaman recorded
18 kills as Brevard rallied from a two-set deficit to defeat
visiting Tusculum 3-2 Wednesday night in a South Atlantic
Conference volleyball match at Boshamer Gymnasium. The Tornados
(12-16, 3-13 SAC) won the match by scores of 24-26, 18-25, 25-15,
25-21, 15-13.
BC's Chelsey Trojan added 11 kills and 13 digs,
while Jami Perry dished out 38 assists to go along
with eight digs and a pair of service aces.
Tusculum's Katie Luebke accounted for her
double-double with 13 kills and 10 digs, while Carly
Swisher and Heather MacArthur posted 12
and 10 kills, respectively. Peyton Colclough added
43 assists, 10 digs and three service aces to go along with a .667
hitting percentage.
TC's Erika Garcia led the Pioneers on defense with 13 digs, while
Kelsey Hayden made nine kills, five blocks and a
.600 attack percentage.
Tusculum will close out the regular season with three straight
home matches, beginning with Friday's 7 p.m. SAC battle with
Catawba.
