ROCK HILL, S.C. --- Ann Indeherberge recorded a pair of victories, including a singles victory for the deciding point as top-seeded Lincoln Memorial defeated No. 2 seed Tusculum 5-3 in the championship match of the Food Lion South Atlantic Conference Women's Tennis Tournament.

The six-team, single-elimination tournament was held at the Rock Hill Tennis Center.

The Lady Railsplitters (18-3) capture their first-ever SAC Tournament title and receive the league's automatic bid to next month's NCAA Division II Tournament. The Pioneers fall to 17-4 and await word of a possible at-large bid to the NCAA postseason.

LMU captured two of the three doubles points, including an 8-2 pro set win by the No. 1 pairing of Sofia Lopez Mimendi and Ideherberge over TC's Katelyn Doss and Caroline Crowe.

Tusculum tied the match at 1-1 as the rookie tandem of Taylor Patterson and Courtney Conley posted an 8-3 win over LMU's Amanda Horenkamp and Mandy Mills at the second flight.

LMU made it 2-1 when Leah Donoff and Melanie Smith won at No. 3 doubles, 8-3 over Blake Thompson and Megan Buckmaster.

The Lady Railsplitters captured the first two singles points as Donoff and Mimendi won at the first and second flights, respectively. Donoff defeated Doss, 6-1, 6-2 at No. 1 singles, while Mimendi followed with a 6-1, 6-1 triumph at the second flight.

Buckmaster cut the deficit to 4-2 with her straight set (6-4, 6-2) victory over Morgan Taylor at No. 6 singles. TC senior Caroline Crowe trimmed the score to 4-3 with her 6-1, 6-3 win over Mandy Mills at No. 4 singles

Indeherberge countered with her second point of the morning as she defeated Patterson 6-4, 6-3 to seal the win and the tournament title for LMU.
