ROCK HILL, S.C. --- Tusculum College's Katelyn Doss has been named the South Atlantic Conference Women's Tennis Player of the Week.

Doss, a junior from Bristol, Tenn., accounted for a pair of points in Tusculum's 9-0 win over Milligan College to open the spring portion of the Pioneer schedule

Doss posted a straight set (6-4, 6-2) win over Milligan's Caitlyn Conley at No. 1 singles. Doss preceded that with an 8-4 pro set victory at No. 1 doubles with teammate Caroline Crowe over the Milligan duo of Conley and Jessie Rose Remegi.

On the year, Doss is 3-1 in singles and 4-0 in doubles competition.

The Pioneers (4-0) return to action this Saturday afternoon as they host the University of Virginia's College at Wise for a noon match at the Nichols Tennis Complex.
