GREENEVILLE, Tenn. --- Bronwyn Hartley
and Amanda Pike accounted for two points each as
the No. 37 Tusculum Women's tennis team defeated North Greenville
5-0 in a rain-abbreviated match at the Nichols Tennis Complex. The
Pioneers (14-3) have won their last three matches and five of their
last six.
Tusculum won all three doubles matches, including an 8-1 victory
at the No. 3 flight by Hartley and Blake Thompson.
Hartley also posted a 6-0, 6-4 win at No. 2 singles over
Cherie Curtis, while Pike won in straight sets
(6-1, 6-1) over Courtney Lynn at the third
flight.
The Pioneers travel to Newberry on Sunday for a 1 p.m. South
Atlantic Conference match.
