GREENEVILLE, Tenn. --- The No. Tusculum Women's tennis team won two doubles points en route to a 7-2 victory over visiting Brevard Sunday afternoon at the Nichols Tennis Complex.
Amanda Pike and Jennifer Sparks outlasted the defeated the Brevard pair of Merek Slagle and Sarah Douglas at No. 2 doubles, 8-1 in pro sets. Blake Thompson and Bronwyn Hartley also added a 8-2 victory at No. 3 singles over Kayley Duval and Kimberlee Cooper.
Pike outlasted Kimberly Dixon at No. 2 singles, 6-4, 4-6, 6-4 while Hartley, Katelyn Doss, Thompson and Heidi von derLage brought in singles wins for the Pioneers.
Tusculum (6-0) will travel to Francis Marion Tuesday for a 2 p.m. match.
