GREENEVILLE, Tenn. --- Tusculum's Taylor Lewis recorded a pair of assists as the Pioneers played in-state rival Lincoln Memorial University to a 3-3 draw Wednesday night in South Atlantic Conference women's soccer action at Pioneer Field.

Tusculum (3-4-1, 0-2-1 SAC) answered every LMU score with one of their own as both teams earned a point in the league standings.

Lincoln Memorial's Kadie Soall accounted for two of the Railsplitters goal production, including her first goal of the year in the 15th minute as she beat two TC players one-on-one in the penalty area and shot inside the far right post to the upper corner for a 1-0 LMU lead.

Tusculum answered three minutes later when Katja Andersson took a through ball from Lewis into the area and beat the goalkeeper one-on-one to notch her second score of the 2015 campaign.

In the 34th minute, Olivia Thompson blasted a shot from 25 yards while falling down to her right. Her shot bent and went into the top shelf of the goal to regain the lead at 2-1.

Tusculum was fouled inside the box at the 35:14 mark as Kelli McCalla's penalty kick beat LMU keeper Kathryn Lundy and tied the match at 2-2.

In the 54th minute, Tusculum was whistled for a foul in the box setting the table for Soall as she buried a penalty kick to the right side and gave LMU the lead again at 3-2.

The Pioneers tied the match at 3-3 at the 63:40 mark of the contest as Lewis went into the box and passed to an open Carly Mill 19 yards in front of the goal as she shot past Lundy for the equalizer at 3-3.

Tusculum out-shot LMU 25-15 in the contest, including 6-3 in the two overtime periods. TC got its best scoring chance just seconds into the first extra period as Lewis got free in the penalty area and got off a shot from 12 yards out that was heading to the top shelf, but Lundy tipped the ball over the cross bar to preserve the draw.

Lundy finished the match with nine saves, while Tusculum's Miriah Martin recorded two saves in her 110 minutes in goal.

Tusculum held a 13-2 advantage in corner kicks in a physical match consisting of 40 combined fouls (TC 21, LMU 19).

The Pioneers return to action this Saturday afternoon when they host Anderson University for a league contest. Kickoff is set for 2 p.m.
