Tusculum ranked throughout NCAA statistics report

INDIANAPOLIS --- The Tusculum College Women's soccer team is well-represented in the latest NCAA Division II statistics, through games of Sunday, Sept. 30.

Senior forward Tramicka James is ranked in all seven offensive statistical categories, and sophomore goalkeeper Marissa Williams is ranked 15th in both goals against average and save percentage. As a team, the Pioneers appear in the top 20 in all five team categories in this week's report.

James (Wilson, N.C.) is off to a stellar start for the Pioneers with eight goals and seven assists for 23 points through 10 matches. James is ranked sixth nationally with her seven assists, 29th with her eight goals and 14th with her 23 points.

James' average of 0.7 assists per game ranks eighth on the leaderboard, and she is 15th in points per game (2.3) and 35th in goals per game (0.8). James is also tied for sixth with four game-winning goals.

Williams (Canton, Mich.) is 15th in goals against average at 0.52 and 15th in save percentage at .881. She has compiled five solo shutouts and two combined shutouts in her 10 appearances, and is working on a streak of 236 minutes, 12 seconds without allowing a goal.

As a team, the Pioneers are sixth in shutout percentage at 0.70, ninth in goals against average at 0.48, 13th in save percentage (.881), 16th in scoring offense (2.9 goals per game) and 17th in winning percentage (.850).

Tusculum (8-1-1, 3-0-0 SAC) returns to action Wednesday evening at 6 p.m. with a SAC match at Carson-Newman.
