Women's Lacrosse

2019: Preseason All-South Atlantic Conference second team... Started in all 14 games in which she played... Collected 23 ground balls and tied for team lead with 13 caused turnovers... Had four ground balls and two caused turnovers against Emmanuel (Mar. 12) and vs. Newberry (Mar. 30)... Finished with three ground balls and two caused turnovers against Lees-McRae (Mar. 21).

2018: Appeared in 16 games for the Pioneers, making 13 starts, and collected 15 ground balls and had 17 draw controls... Recorded six caused turnovers and also scored a pair of goals, in wins against Mars Hill  (Mar. 28) and Newberry (Mar. 31)... Four draw controls against both No. 17 Queens (Mar. 24) and Mars Hill (Mar. 28), and registered a season-high three ground balls against Wingate (Apr. 21).

2017: Played in 10 games with one start in her freshman season... Totaled two ground balls, one draw control and caused one turnover.

High School: Graduated from Metrolina Christian Academy in Charlotte, N.C... Coached by Kat Wall... Lettered in lacrosse, track & field and competition cheerleading... Lacrosse: Played for Team USA U18 at the 2015 IFL World Games in Scotland... Played for Midwestern Force Elite Club team for four years... Played 2013 and 2014 seasons at Weddington HS... Ranked by MaxPreps as 21st best player in North Carolina... Earned All-Conference honors twice at Weddington HS... Track and Field: Set the school record in the long jump by 11 inches... Qualified for the state track meet in three events in  2016 including the long jump, triple jump, shot put... Ranked in NCHSAA top-20 in all three events... Led 2016 team to conference title... Competition Cheerleading: Charlotte All-stars Teal 2012-2014 and Cheer Athletics Royalcats 2014-2015 (ranked in the top-3 gyms in the world). Nationally ranked cheerleader who has competed in the Cheerleading Worlds competition 2013, 2014, 2015; team won multiple national titles in 2015... Three-year Varsity High School Cheerleader and 2-year captain... 2013- Varsity Cheerleading State Champions Multiple national champion competition cheerleading at the highest level Placed in Worlds of cheerleading competition at highest level 2014-Multiple national champion competition cheerleading at the highest level Placed in Worlds of cheerleading competition at highest level 2015... 2015 Honors: A/B Honor Roll... Personal: Born Oct. 14, 1997 in Weddington, N.C... Daughter of Brent and Sharon Sanders... Father, Brent Sanders, played football at Furman University (1978-1982) where he played in four Southern Conference titles teams... Brother, Hayden played football at Presbyterian College...
