10-0 halftime lead against the Bobcats (5-10).
Peyton LeCompte and Callie Gregg scored two goals apiece for
Lees-McRae, which was outshot 25-20 by Tusculum in the game and

Tusculum, became the third Pioneer to crack the century mark when
she assisted on a goal by Erin Sims with 15:57 remaining in the
first half. Kelsey Crow and Malone had previously surpassed the
100-point mark this season for the Pioneers.

seven minutes into the first half. Following Ohl's outburst, the
Pioneers received a goal from Malone with 2:25 left in the half to

10-3 seven minutes into the half. Goals from Elliott and Bray
pushed the Pioneers on top 12-3 with 18:10 to go, with three in a
row from Rachel Holmes, Malone and Calyn Kelly helping the Pioneers
to go on top 15-4 with 8:08 left. After LeCompte and Ohl traded
goals, the Bobcats scored the final two goals of the game as Jenah
Tracy and Ashley Ritter tallied in the last four minutes of the
contest.
In addition to her five points on offense, Malone registered two
draw controls and a pair of caused turnovers for the Pioneers. Crow
finished with a game-high three caused turnovers for the Pioneers,
with Bray, Kelly and Holmes accumulating a pair of draw
controls.

controls each. The Bobcats had 10 ground balls as a team, led by
two each from Prata, LeCompte and Tiffany Laster.
Brooke Wagner started in goal for the Pioneers and did not allow a
goal in the first half while making three saves. She returned early
in the second half and played the final 23 minutes, making four
additional saves to finish with seven for the match. Mia Emmerson,

ranking fourth in save percentage, made just six saves in goal for
the Bobcats.
The Pioneers will close out their regular season on the road
Saturday afternoon at Wingate. Game time for the key South Atlantic
