ROCK HILL, S.C. --- Tusculum College senior attack Cheyenne Bray has been recognized by the South Atlantic Conference as the Astroturf Women's Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week for the week ending Feb. 14.

Bray, a native of Collierville, Tennessee, registered a team-high four goals and added an assist as the Pioneers defeated Shorter 19-11 Saturday afternoon in Rome, Georgia. Bray had three of her four tallies during a 9-0 second-half run that helped the Pioneers erase a one-goal deficit. Bray also finished the game with two draw controls and one ground ball as Tusculum improved its record to 2-0 with the victory.

Bray earns SAC Offensive Player of the Week honors for the first time this season and the third time in her career. The senior has six goals and two assists for eight points through two games this season.

Tusculum will be on the road Saturday afternoon at Converse in a non-conference game that is scheduled to begin at 2 p.m.
