The Pioneers responded by scoring four-straight goals in the final 10 minutes of the half to take a 6-2 advantage into the halftime locker room. Elliot scored her second goal during that span, while Sims, Chadwick, and Crow netted goals to give TC the four-goal advantage.

Both teams traded goals for the first ten minutes of the second half, and TC held an 8-5 lead with 21:47 remaining in the game. Jones opened the second-half scoring two and a half minutes in, before Bray answered with her second goal of the game. Starkes recorded her second goal only to have Crow get her second tally two minutes later. Starkes completed her hat trick to close out the scoring barrage.
