ROCK HILL, S.C. --- For a second consecutive season, Tusculum University's Jennifer Keim has been named to the All-South Atlantic Conference second team announced league officials with the release of the 2021 SAC Women's Golf Awards.
Keim, a graduate student from South Yarmouth, Massachusetts, leads the Pioneers for a second straight year with a 75.42 stroke average which is the eighth lowest in the league and is on pace to be a new TU single-season record. Keim has posted five top-10 performances in her six tournaments this spring including three top-5 finishes.
She captured her second career medalist honor at last month's Agnes McAmis Memorial where she posted a 36-hole total 76-72=148. She preceded that with a third place finish at the NCAA Division I Bobby Nichols Intercollegiate where she garnered All-Tournament honors with a TU 54-hole record 70-77-75=222.
For her Tusculum career, she has a 75.69 scoring average which is slated to be a new program record. In her two seasons Greeneville, she has recorded 11 top-20 finished including nine times in the top-five.
SAC newcomer Limestone University made a clean sweep of all the major conference awards as Pilar Martinez was named the Golfer of the Year, while teammate Stina Wikstrom was the Freshman of the Year. Saints head coach Zack Siefert is the 2021 SAC Women's Golf Coach of the Year.
The Pioneers will compete at next week's South Atlantic Conference Championship at Woodlake Golf Club in Tazewell, Tennessee. Tee times will begin at 8:30 a.m. both days with 36 holes being played on Monday with a shotgun start, followed by 18 holes in Tuesday's final round. The Pioneers will be vying for their third SAC title, winning the conference's first two women's championships in 2000 and 2001.
