Cunningham wins Temple Hills Club Championship

FRANKLIN, Tenn. --- Tusculum University rising junior Olivia Cunningham shot an even-par 72 to win the 2020 Temple Hills Ladies Championship last weekend. The two-day, 36-hole tournament was held at Temple Hills Country Club.

Cunningham, a native of Nashville, posted a tournament tally of 74-72=146 to claim the title by 11 shots.

Cunningham played in five tournaments last year with the Pioneers where she posted a 79.20 stroke average which was second on the team.  She accounted for three top-20 finishes in an abbreviated season which was halted in March due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Her 78.47 career stroke average at Tusculum is currently the fourth-lowest in program history. She has tallied eight career top-20 finishes including five times in the top-10 and four top-5 finishes.

Cunningham, a graduate of Father Ryan High School in Nashville, is an outstanding student as well where she is a member of the Division II Athletic Directors Association Honor Roll and is a two-time WGCA All-America Scholar.
