GREENEVILLE, Tenn. --- The UNC Pembroke women's golf team claimed its third title in four years in winning the 2014 Tusculum Fall Classic. The Lady Braves established a new tournament record with its two-day score of 597, including Tuesday's final round 300.

UNCP becomes the second team to claim three TC Fall Classic titles (2011, 2012, 2014), joining Belmont Abbey who won championships in 2008, 2009 and 2010.

The Lady Braves' 597 breaks the previous mark of 598 shot by UNC Pembroke to win the 2011 TC Fall Classic.

Amanda Levy claimed medalist honors in a playoff over teammate Laura Bird. The UNCP duo both finished with two-day scores of 147.

Lincoln Memorial finished seven shots off the pace set by UNCP with 604. Converse was third with 612, followed by Catawba (624), Tusculum (628), West Alabama (630), Mars Hill (641), North Greenville (656) and Lenoir-Rhyne (664).

Converse's Maddisen Cox finished third with 75-73=148, while UNCP's Ashlii Thompson placed fourth with 70-79=149. LMU's Lindsay Davis shot 75-75=150 to claim the final spot on the All-Tournament Team.

Tusculum freshman Ciara Rattana tied for 10th place with 74-79=153 in her first collegiate tournament. Sophomore Taylor Lambertsen shot 74-81=155 to tie for 15th place, while senior Alec Cunningham finished 21st with 79-78=157. Junior Calley Lawson posted an 81-82=163 to finish 34th while sophomore Lindsay Butler claimed 49th place with 92-82=174.

Tusculum junior Kelly Horrell tied for 41st place with 89-77=166, playing as an individual competitor. Freshmen Blythe Scrivner (84-83=167) and Sayre Hopper (108-109=217) finished 43rd and 53rd, respectively as individual competitors.

Along with the women's tournament, which was held in conjunction with the men's event, a combined championship was also decided. LMU claimed its fifth straight combined championship with 1,163. Host Tusculum finished runner-up with 1,191. Catawba placed third with 1,200, followed by Mars Hill (1,209) and Lenoir-Rhyne (1,232).

Tusculum will be in action next week (Oct. 6-7) at the Myrtle Beach Intercollegiate, hosted by Lenoir-Rhyne University in Sunset Beach, N.C.
