COLUMBUS, Ga. --- Due to heavy rain in the Columbus area and unplayable conditions on Monday, the Tusculum College women's golf team was unable to complete the first round of the TSYS Collegiate Classic. The opening round began at 3 p.m. with a shotgun start as the teams got in 12 holes of play before play was suspended at the Country Club of Columbus.

Rain is expected throughout the night but first round play is scheduled to resume with a shotgun start at 9 a.m. The second round will immediately follow to complete the 36-hole event.
