BLOOMINGTON, Ill. --- The Tusculum College women's golf team is listed seven times in the latest Golfstat Division II national statistics.

The Pioneers are ninth in the country in par 5 scoring (5.28) and subpar strokes per round (1.56), and 13th in total birdies (144). Tusculum is also 16th in par 3 scoring (3.40), 18th in par 4 scoring (4.54) and 20th nationally in both average score (80.02) and score versus par (+8.16).

In her 21 competitive rounds, Corum has posted a 77.76 stroke average, which is second on the team and earned her a spot on the All-South Atlantic Conference First Team. Corum finished seventh at the SAC Championship earlier this month, earning her a spot on the SAC All-Tournament Team.

Leading the charge for the Pioneers is rookie sensation Emee Herbert, who is posting a 77.00 scoring average, which is the second lowest in the conference an on-pace to be a new Tusculum single-season record. The Johns Creek, Ga. native was named the 2012 SAC Freshman of the Year and joined Corum on the All-SAC First Team. Herbert finished third at the SAC Championship with a 54-hole school record score of 229 to garner a spot on the SAC All-Tournament Team.

The Pioneers will learn their postseason fate this Monday with the announcement of the NCAA II Championship field. TC is vying for its first-ever NCAA postseason appearance.

Tusculum is enjoying one of the program's best seasons ever as the Pioneers have finished in the top five in nine of its 10 events, including team wins at the Anderson Invitational and the Agnes McAmis Memorial.
