BLOOMINGTON, Ill. --- The Tusculum College
women's golf team is ranked 19th in the country according to this
week's Golfstat NCAA Division II head-to-head standings.
The Pioneers are also listed in four statistical team categories,
while junior Jillian Corum is listed amongst the national leaders
in par 5 scoring.
Corum, a Knoxville, Tenn. native, is fifth in the country,
averaging 4.94 strokes on par 5 holes this season. She is
currently second on the team with her 78.1 scoring average and has
posted six top-20 finishes, including four in the top-10. She
finished tied for sixth at last month's Lady Cougar Collegiate
Classic.
Tusculum is tied for sixth in the country in team sub-par strokes per round (1.55) and is 16th in birdies (93). TC is also 14th in team par 3 scoring (3.36) and 18th in par 5 scoring (5.31).
The Pioneers return to action March 26-27 as they compete at the J. Ralph Hargett Intercollegiate.
