ROCK HILL, S.C. --- Tusculum College's Mary Ann Vizcarrondo was named to the All-South Atlantic Conference Women's Golf First Team for the second time in her career announced conference officials Sunday.
Vizcarrondo finished the regular season with a team-leading scoring average of 80.8, which ranked fifth in the conference. The junior also lowered her program-record career scoring average to 81.69, which is nearly two strokes better than second place on the school's all-time list.
Joining Vizcarrondo on the All-SAC First Team are Sarah Jane Sinard of Carson-Newman, Kelsey Babos of Catawba, Ashley Denton of Wingate, and Player of the Year Maria Besio of Newberry. The second team consists of Brenna Martens, Lenoir-Rhyne; Katie Thackerson, Lenoir-Rhyne; Anna Huzelius, Wingate; Andrea Velasquez, Wingate; and Kacie Braxton from Wingate.
