GREENEVILLE, Tenn. --- Two student-athletes have indicated they will attend Tusculum College and play golf for the Pioneers announced TC Women's coach Bob Dibble. Joining the Tusculum squad next season are Katie Doane and Rebeka Bell.

Doane, a native of Sevierville, Tenn., won the Sevier County Championship twice and finished 10th in the Tennessee State High School Championship representing Pigeon Force High School. She was also a member of the 2007 Region Championship team.

"Katie has just the type of ability and energy that fits this team perfectly," said Dibble. "She gives us depth that a good team needs in winning consistently.

Bell, a product of Eustis, Fla., finished second in the District Tournament while playing at Mt. Dora High School. Bell earned All-County honors and was named team captain in 2007.

"Rebeka has the desire and work ethic that will bring her success at Tusculum," Dibble added. "Her record proves she's a very straight hitter of the golf ball, which will help the team on tight courses."
