The Pioneers pulled back within 67-65 on a layup from Silva with 8:35 left and appeared to take the lead moments later on a three-pointer, but it was waved off due to an offensive foul. Coker would then score seven straight points to go up 74-65, and Tusculum would score its final field goal on a jumper by Artasia Cole with 4:56 left.
