Carson-Newman (5-0) received four of six first-place votes to earn the top spot in the region poll, followed by Wingate (3-0), Lander (2-1), Anderson (4-0) and Limestone (2-1) in the top five. The remainder of the top 10 consists of Columbus State (2-1), Francis Marion (3-1), Tusculum, Lincoln Memorial (2-2) and North Georgia (4-1). Tusculum is one of five South Atlantic Conference teams included in this week's Southeast Region poll, joining Carson-Newman, Wingate, Anderson and Lincoln Memorial.
