ROCK HILL, S.C. ---

Tusculum College senior guard Jasmine Gunn has been named the South Atlantic Conference Player of the Week in Women's basketball for the week of February 7-13, the SAC office announced Monday. It is the third time this season that Gunn has received the honor.

Gunn (Nashville, Tenn.) turned in a pair of signature performances to help the Pioneers extend their winning streak to 10 straight games and open a three-game lead in the SAC standings. She averaged 20.5 points, 9.0 rebounds and 8.5 assists in wins over Carson-Newman (77-73) and Wingate (69-48), shooting 14-for-29 from the field and 11-for-15 from the foul line while posting double-doubles in each game.

Against Carson-Newman, she recorded 21 points, eight rebounds and a game-high 10 assists and hit the clinching free throws with two seconds left. Against Wingate, she tallied 20 points, a season-best 10 rebounds and seven assists along with five steals.

Overall, Gunn leads the Pioneers and the SAC in scoring at 19.7 points per game and is also averaging 4.7 rebounds and 3.7 assists per contest. She has scored 20 or more points in a game 12 times this season, including three in a row and four of the last five contests.

The Pioneers (16-6 overall, 12-2 SAC) return to action Wednesday at Anderson beginning at 6 p.m.
