GREENEVILLE, Tenn. --- The No. 22 Tusculum College Women's basketball team completed an undefeated regular-season at home as the Pioneers posted a 67-39 non-conference win over Brevard College Saturday night at Pioneer Arena.

Stephany Neptune led Tusculum with 12 points, nine rebounds, three blocks and four steals. Jasmine Gunn added 11 points and eight assists, while Shantae Shank finished with 10 points on 5-for-7 shooting.

Brevard's Samantha Winn accounted for 11 markers, while Holly Krogman tallied 10 points and eight rebounds in the loss.

Junior Ashli Oliver recorded her 271st career three-point field to take over sole possession of the all-time South Atlantic Conference record in that category.

The Pioneers led wire-to-wire in the game as TC scored the opening six points of the contest and led 30-18 at the half.

Tusculum out-rebounded BC by a 42-27 margin, including 14-3 on the offensive glass. Tusculum shot 41 percent from the floor, while limiting Brevard to 28.2 percent shooting in the game.

In the second period, Tusculum scored the first eight points and later used a 19-5 spurt as the Pioneers won their eighth straight game and completes the season sweep over the Tornados (8-17).

Tusculum returns to league action on Wednesday when they wrap-up the regular season at Mars Hill College. A win on Wednesday would clinch Tusculum the outright league title.
