GREENEVILLE, Tenn. --- Due to this week's winter storm in the East Tennessee area, and the threat of impending bad weather, Tusculum College softball head coach Julie Huebner has announced the cancellation of this weekend's Pioneer Classic.

The tournament was scheduled to feature 15 contests at Red Edmonds Field between seven different teams on Friday (Feb. 21) through Sunday (Feb. 23). None of the games will be made up.

Tusculum (3-5) is now scheduled to return to action on Wednesday, Feb. 25, on the road at Erskine College. The twinbilll is set to begin at 2 p.m.
