GREENEVILLE, Tenn. --- For the second time this season, Tusculum University men's volleyball junior Deklan Wingo was named the Intercollegiate Volleyball Association (IVA) Offensive Player of the Week.
An outside hitter, Wingo recorded double-digit kills in both matches at No. 3 Hawai'i. He finished with 21 kills on a .312 hitting percentage against the Rainbow Warriors. Wingo also added two digs and two blocks in the weekend matches.
On the season, Wingo is averaging 2.97 kills on a .223 clip with 1.00 dig and .39 blocks per set for Tusculum.
The Pioneers (1-8) look to end their five-match losing skid when Emmanuel comes to town on Friday (Feb. 9). First serve is scheduled for 5 p.m.
