SKILLMAN, N.J. --- The Tusculum College men's tennis team is listed 47th in the Oracle/Intercollegiate Tennis Association rankings announced officials Wednesday.

The Pioneers (3-0) moved up one spot from the previous rankings following a perfect fall season with victories over Virginia-Wise, King and Mars Hill (non-conference).

Three South Atlantic Conference teams are nationally-ranked in the ITA poll, including No. 45 Wingate, No. 46 Queens University of Charlotte and No. 47 Tusculum. The Pioneers will also face three non-conference opponents in the spring which are ranked, including No. 20 North Georgia, No. 44 Northwood and No. 50 Bluefield State.

Barry University is the top-ranked team in the latest poll. Hawaii Pacific is second, followed by Armstrong State, West Florida, Lander, Lynn, Saint Leo, Concordia (N.Y.), Valdosta State and Rollins to comprise the top-10.

Tusculum will open the spring season on Feb. 20 as the Pioneers will be at in-state foe Milligan College.
