Men's Tennis picks up 6-3 road win at Mars Hill

GREENEVILLE, Tenn. --- The 43rd ranked Tusculum College men's tennis team earned a 6-3 South Atlantic Conference win at Mars Hill University on Saturday. Lukas Winkelmann won his 49th straight regular-season singles match in the top spot.

Tusculum (16-1, 9-1 SAC) swept through doubles play and earned three key points. Lukas and Jonas Winkelmann remained perfect on the season with a win in the top flight.

Lukas Winkelmann easily defeated the Lions' (7-9, 3-8) Euquerio Guerrero (6-3, 6-1), while Jonas Winkelmann bested Carlos Suares Riesco (6-2, 6-3) in the third flight. David Siegle rolled past Blake Covington 8-1 in the sixth position.

The Pioneers will be going for a share of the SAC championship tomorrow when they travel to face Brevard College beginning at 11 a.m.
