HILTON HEAD ISLAND, S.C. --- The Tusculum College men's tennis team completed a perfect week at Hilton Head Island with Wednesday's 9-0 shutout over Dickinson College in the final match of the Spring Break Bash.

The Pioneers (6-4) swept all three doubles matches, including an 8-2 pro set win by the No. 2 pairing of Jonas Winkelmann and John Taylor as they defeated Jon Brittin and Hunter Dewing-Hommes.

TC also got doubles points by the No. 3 duo of Joseph Elphingstone and Paul Wiederspahn, and the No. 1 pairing of Lukas Winkelmann and Nicolas Planchard.

Lukas Winkelmann and Planchard also won their singles contests, while Taylor, Elphingstone, Daniel Gianopulos and Nacho Collado also recorded victories in singles play.

The Pioneers return to action on Friday, March 22 when they travel to Wingate for a South Atlantic Conference contest.
