HILTON HEAD ISLAND, S.C. --- Henrique Rodrigues recorded the deciding points with his straight set singles victory to lead the Tusculum College men's tennis team to an 8-1 win over East Stroudsburg University Monday morning at Hilton Head Island. The Pioneers improve to 7-1 overall, while ESU slips to 3-5 on the season.

Tusculum posted wins at No. 1 and No. 2 doubles, including an 8-3 pro set victory at the top flight as Rodrigues and Luis Zamora defeated James and Will Norris.

The Pioneers swept all six singles matches in straight sets as Zamora, Rodrigues, Steven Lin, Oliver Smith, Drew Kiser and Gui Carvalho.

Tusculum will face Young Harris College at 8 a.m. on Tuesday as the Pioneers continue their South Carolina road-swing.
