HILTON HEAD ISLAND, S.C. --- The No. 36 Tusculum College
men's tennis team blanked Tiffin University, 9-0 Wednesday
afternoon. The win snaps a four-match losing streak for the
Pioneers (6-5) and wraps up Tusculum's spring break trip to Hilton
Head.
Tusculum swept the three doubles matches, including an 8-1 pro set
win at the third flight by Hunter Beal and
Steven Lin. Lin also recorded a victory at No. 3
singles over Ryan Toporowsky, 6-1, 6-2. TC also got singles
victories by Henrique Rodrigues, Thomas
Rees, Drew Kiser, Paul Santos,
Jr. and Thomas Clayton.
Tusculum returns to action, Saturday, March 21 as the Pioneers
travel to North Greenville University for a 1 p.m. match.
