GREENEVILLE, Tenn. --- The No. 31 Tusculum College men's
tennis team recorded its third straight victory as the Pioneers
posted a 9-0 win over King College Thursday afternoon at the
Nichols Tennis Complex.
Tusculum improves to 5-1 on the season, while King drops to 1-2 on
the year.
The Pioneers got three points in doubles action, including an 8-0
pro set win by the No. 2 pairing of Leo Guaycurus
and Henrique Rodrigues over King's Nick Smith and
Chris Coleman.
TC also swept all six singles matches, including victories by
Thomas Rees, Hunter Beal,
Steven Lin, Drew Kiser, Rodrigues
and Guaycurus.
The Pioneers will travel to North Greenville University this
Saturday for a 1 p.m. match on the Tigerville, S.C. campus.
