MILLIGAN COLLEGE, Tenn. --- The 31st-ranked Tusculum
College men's tennis team didn't drop a set on the afternoon as the
Pioneers shut out host Milligan College Saturday afternoon.
Tusculum got its first point of the day at No. 3 doubles as
Hunter Beal and Steven Lin paired
for an 8-2 pro set victory over Bryan Upshaw and Andy Stewart. TC
also garnered doubles points at the second and third flights,
including an 8-3 win by the duo of Leo Guaycurus
and Henrique Rodrigues at No. 2 doubles.
Rodrigues and Guaycurus each recorded a singles point at the first
and fourth flights, respectively. The Pioneers also got singles
points from Drew Kiser, Thomas
Rees, Beal and Lin.
The Pioneers (3-1) will be at the University of Virginia's College
at Wise on Tuesday afternoon for a 3 p.m. match against the
Highland Cavaliers.
