GREENEVILLE, Tenn. --- Tusculum University will be celebrating the 50th season of the TU men's soccer program during its Homecoming Week which his scheduled for next weekend (Oct. 4-6) on the Greeneville campus.
All former Tusculum players and coaches are invited to be a part of this special weekend as TU honors 50 seasons of men's soccer at Tennessee's most historic university.
Men's soccer was introduced as an intercollegiate sport in 1965 and has been played every year with the exception of 1972, 1986, 1987, 1988 and 2006.
Special events and programs have been planned as men's soccer alumni and staff will be recognized prior to next Saturday homecoming football game (Oct. 5, 2 pm vs Wingate) as well at the men's soccer home match on next Sunday (Oct. 6, 1 pm vs Anderson).
There will also be a men's soccer alumni brunch scheduled for 10 a.m. next Sunday (Oct. 6) at the stadium.
