KANSAS CITY, Kansas --- The Tusculum College
men's soccer team has cracked the National Soccer Coaches
Association of America/Continental Tire Division II Southeast
Region Poll. The Pioneers are listed 10th in this week's poll
after posting a pair of wins last week.
Tusculum (2-1, 1-0 South Atlantic Conference) opened the week with
a 2-0 victory over regional foe King University. They followed
that performance with a 2-1 win over defending SAC regular-season
and tournament champion Queens University of Charlotte.
Limestone College remains the top-ranked team in the region as the Saints went 2-0 last week to move its record to 4-0.
Young Harris College is second, followed by Flagler College, Lincoln Memorial University, Barton College, University of Montevallo, Lees-McRae College, Clayton State University, Wingate University and Tusculum College.
The NSCAA/Continental Tire College Rankings are an indicator of week-to-week status of qualified programs and in no way should be used as a guide or indicator of eligibility for NCAA championship selection.
The Pioneers will be on the road for the first time this season on Wednesday when they travel to Francis Marion University for a 5 p.m. regional contest.
