For the third straight year, Tusculum College claimed the Tusculum Indoor Tournament championship, in the event held Saturday at the Indoor Practice Facility.

A total of 22 teams participated in the tournament, including two teams representing Tusculum and two squads made up of Pioneer Alumni.

After winning all five of its matches in Group A, Tusculum defeated Lindsey Wilson in the semifinals and downed King College in the finals to capture the championship trophy.

Among the other schools that participated in the tournament were Milligan, Lees-McRae, University of Cumberlands and Virginia Intermont.
