Tusculum posted a sterling 2-0 record last week, defeating Anderson (S.C.) 2-1 on Wednesday before clinching the third conference title in program history with a come-from-behind 4-2 win over Lenoir-Rhyne on Saturday.
This marks the 10th consecutive week the Pioneers have been ranked among the top 25 teams in the nation, and the fifth straight week the black and orange have been a member of the national top 10.
The Pioneers begin their postseason run as the top seed in the Food Lion South Atlantic Conference Tournament on Wednesday, hosting the eighth-seeded Catawba College Indians at 7 p.m. at Pioneer Field. Tickets are $5 for adults, $2 for students, and Tusculum students are admitted free of charge with a valid student ID.
