Tusculum enjoyed the most successful season in program history in 2008, posting a school record 20 wins en route to its third South Atlantic Conference championship and the program's second consecutive berth in the NCAA Tournament. The Pioneers finished the campaign with a 20-3-1 record, falling to the University of Tampa 3-2 in extra time on Nov. 23 in the quarterfinal round of the national tournament.
The black and orange is expected to return eight of its top 10 scorers and nine starters from this season's squad, which captured the program's third Food Lion South Atlantic Conference tournament title.
