PERRY, N.Y. --- The Tusculum men's lacrosse team continues to receive votes in the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association Division II Top 20 poll, the USILA announced Monday.

USILA Division II Top 20 Poll

The Pioneers (6-2, 2-1 South Atlantic Conference), who have received votes each of the last three weeks in the USILA poll, defeated Catawba 14-8 in their only match last week to stay undefeated at home at 5-0 this season. Tusculum's 6-2 start is the best in the program's four-year history, and the team has scored in double figures in each of its last seven games while holding its opponents under 10 goals five times in that span.

The Pioneers lead Division II in man-up offense at 56.7 percent (17-for-30) and are in the top 10 in six other categories, including assists per game (3rd, 9.63), points per game (4th, 25.13), scoring offense (5th, 15.5 goals per game), ground balls per game (8th, 36.38) and scoring margin (9th, +6.63 goals per game). In addition to man-up offense, Tusculum also leads the SAC in scoring offense, scoring margin, total assists, assists per game and points per game.

Limestone has moved into the top spot in this week's poll, followed by Merrimack, former number one ranked Le Moyne, Mercyhurst and Lindenwood. Three Tusculum opponents are in this week's rankings, as Lenoir-Rhyne is 8th, Tampa is 13th and Wingate is 15th.

The Pioneers are on the road Wednesday afternoon at Lincoln Memorial, starting at 3:30 p.m, before returning home to face Queens on Saturday at 3 p.m. at Pioneer Field.
