ROCK HILL, S.C. --- Tusculum College's Quinn McKitrick has been named the AstroTurf South Atlantic Conference Men's Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week.

McKitrick, a freshman from Aldergrove, British Columbia, had five caused turnovers in the Pioneers' 12-11 overtime victory against Brevard last Saturday. One of his caused turnovers came in the final minute that led to the game-tying goal with 13.9 seconds left to send the game into overtime.

Tusculum (4-1, 1-0 SAC) returns to action on Saturday when they host Emmanuel College for a 2 p.m. contest at Pioneer Field.
