Mark Healy was named to the Tusculum golf coaching staff in August 2022 where he served as a graduate assistant coach. He was promoted to director of golf operations in August 2023.

He is responsible for the business side of the men’s and women’s golf program including fundraising, budget and team travel. His duties also include player development, recruiting, academic advisement and practice organization.

The Cork, Ireland native served as a graduate assistant coach for the Pioneers during the 2022-23 season as both the men's and women's teams showed marked improvement.

The men's team finished fifth at the South Atlantic Conference Championship, TU's best league finish in six years. Tusculum placed two players on the SAC All-Tournament Team. The Pioneers shot a 54-hole tally 877 for its third lowest score at the conference tournament. The women's team finished sixth at the 2023 SAC Championship, its best showing in six years at the league tournament.

The 2022-23 men's season included five top-5 performances including the team tournament title at the King Invitational as TU posted a 36-hole total of 564 which is the fifth-lowest in school history. Tusculum finished runner-up at the Bob Dibble Intercollegiate, third at the Findlay Spring Invitational, fourth at the Richard Rendleman Invitational and fifth at the Matt Dyas Invitational. At the Findlay tournament, the Pioneers carded a 54-hole total 869 which is second in TU history.

The 2022-23 women's campaign including five team finishes in the top-10 including a runner-up performance at the Agnes McAmis Memorial and a third-place finish at the CBU Buccaneer Classic.

Academically, the Pioneers also shined as the women’s team boasted a team grade point average of 3.56 while men’s program boasted a 3.24 GPA. The programs had a combined five golfers who garnered All-America Scholar Athlete recognition.

Healy, a 2022 Tusculum graduate, lettered with the Pioneers for three seasons (2019-2022) where he played in 11 events. He recorded four top-20 finishes including a career-best fourth place showing at the 2019 King Invitational where he garnered All-Tournament honors.

Healy earned his Bachelors of Science degree from Tusculum while majoring in economics with a minor in business and was a member of the Athletic Director’s Honor Roll. In 2023, he earned his graduate degree in business administration from Tusculum.
