Tusculum College is in fifth place after two days of the 2013 Food Lion South Atlantic Conference Men's Golf Tournament, being conducted at the Sevierville Golf Club's River Course.

The Pioneers, who were in third place after day one, nearly matched their first-round total of 307 by shooting a 308 on Monday. However, Carson-Newman and Lenoir-Rhyne were able to beat the Pioneers' score and hop past them into third and fourth place, respectively.

Lincoln Memorial continues to set the pace in the team standings with a two-day score of even-par 576, followed by Wingate (603), Carson-Newman (610), Lenoir-Rhyne (611) and Tusculum at 615.

The top scorer for the Pioneers is senior Derek Cantrell, who shot a 75 for the second day in a row on Monday and will enter the final round in a four-way tie for ninth place at 150. Three Pioneers are tied for 20th place with 36-hole totals of 156, as freshman Nick Forsberg carded a 76, junior Dakota Norton shot 77 and senior Nick York fired an 80.

Rounding out the lineup for the Pioneers is sophomore Warren Cheney, who turned in an 83 on Monday and is tied for 34th place at 160.

Lincoln Memorial holds the top three spots in the individual standings, led by Connor Froning who is at 136 and eight strokes ahead of teammates Jamie Chapman and Rand Wasson. Newberry's Chandler Geuenemeier and Wingate's Tyler Stone are tied for fourth at 146.

Tuesday's final round begins at 8:30 a.m. from the River Course at the Sevierville Golf Club.
